The application also provides support for clusters spanning various data centres, making it the ideal application for handling big data.


Microsoft HDInsight

This application is a cloud-based service that provides cheap and fast service to processing data. This application has the ability to provide popular open-source frameworks (Hadoop, Hive). The key characteristic with this application is that it has a seamless integration with other Microsoft services such as Azure and Access. Allows for processing of big data.
